For the first time, we have set ourselves an internal research and focus topic for 2023. A rather new one, one with future potential, and one where we don’t know yet what we will have learned in the end. Drum roll! It is a quasi-self-created neologism: Quantum consulting!
The core of our research in the coming year will be about understanding specific concepts, properties, and effects of the quantum world and thinking about them as principles for organizational development and process consulting. At first glance, phenomena such as simultaneity of states (superposition), entanglement of elements (entanglement), and interference of patterns of motion (interference) seem to us to be very useful not only in a metaphorical sense but also for the reconfiguration of organizations and processes. Why? Because these concepts will help us explore, understand, and visualize organizational complexities, ambiguities and perceived contradictions.
And in the end, we will certainly have learned something about ourselves and how reality is influenced by observational consulting or about parallel realities in business and society.
